The Back Story:

 The Turkey Point lighthouse, built in 1833, is best known for Fannie Mae Salter, the last female civilian lighthouse keeper. She tended the light after the death of her husband in 1925, until she retired in 1947. The lighthouse is within the confines of Elk Neck State Park in Maryland. It was featured in the Clint Eastwood movie “Absolute Power”.
 About the Artist: Paul M. Bradley Jr., an architect by profession, began drawing lighthouses after a New England vacation sparked his interest in the structures.His drawings appear quarterly in the Keeper’s Log a publication of the U.S. Lighthouse Society (www.ushls.org).
