The Back Story:
Pleasure Pier - Catalina Island
Originally built in 1909 as a place for boatmen and fishermen to store their gear. The Pleasure Pier now serves as headquarters for the Harbormaster, the Glass Bottom Boat, Flying Fish Tour, Dinner Cruise, and other water excursions along with the Dive shop, boat rentals, bait and fishing supplies.
About the Artist: Jim Krogle, a graduate of Chouinard Art Institute, has enjoyed an extensive career as an American Illustrator. He now follows his true passion painting the beach and surf scene he grew up with. Visit www.jimkrogle.com.
